The Telangana government on Monday announced a major reorganisation of its police administration, creating four new police commissionerates to enhance law enforcement and improve policing efficiency across the state. The move is aimed at strengthening the administrative framework, streamlining operations, and ensuring faster response times in urban and semi-urban areas. Officials stated that the restructuring will allow better allocation of resources and improved coordination among police units to tackle crime more effectively.
