Thousands of women in Andhra Pradesh who completed government-sponsored tailoring training are still waiting for the promised free sewing machines. Around 54,000 women finished training across nearly 680 centers.
Officials stated that delays in payments to suppliers have slowed down the distribution process. The government assured speedy resolution of the issue.
