Jaisalmer, November 29, 2025 — The Indian Railways inaugurated the new ‘Swarn Nagari’ train connecting Jaisalmer to Delhi on Friday, aimed at boosting connectivity and tourism between the desert city and the national capital. The train will run thrice a week, providing modern amenities and faster travel for passengers.
Officials said the train will pass through major stations including Jodhpur, Jaipur, and Alwar, covering the distance in approximately 18 hours. Timings have been released to facilitate travel planning, and tickets are now available through railway booking portals and counters.
