Thiruvananthapuram, November 15, 2025: Retired IAS officer K. Jayakumar was sworn in today as the new president of the Travancore Devaswom Board, marking a significant administrative transition for one of Kerala’s largest temple governance bodies. The oath was administered in the presence of senior officials and board members, who welcomed Jayakumar’s vast administrative experience and cultural contributions.
With decades of service in public administration, Jayakumar is expected to bring greater transparency, efficiency, and reform-focused governance to temple management.
