President of India visited the sacred Sri Padmavati Ammavari Temple in Tiruchanur, Andhra Pradesh, on Friday and offered special prayers. The President was received with traditional honours by temple authorities, who briefed her on the temple’s rich heritage and cultural significance.
Devotees gathered in large numbers as the President performed rituals amid tight security arrangements. The visit is part of her two-day tour of the state, during which she is expected to attend several cultural and developmental events in the region.
