NMC Set to Issue New Regulatory Guidelines for Medical Institutions and Professionals

The National Medical Commission (NMC) is preparing to release a fresh set of regulatory guidelines aimed at standardizing practices across medical institutions and strengthening accountability among healthcare professionals. The move comes as part of NMC’s ongoing reforms to enhance transparency and quality in medical education and clinical practice in India.

According to officials, the updated guidelines will address areas such as institutional compliance, ethical standards, faculty qualifications, clinical training, and patient safety protocols. Medical colleges and healthcare providers nationwide will be required to implement the rules once officially notified.
