A new Vande Bharat Express service is set to enhance connectivity between Varanasi and Khajuraho, offering passengers a faster, more comfortable travel experience. The semi-high-speed train is expected to operate with reduced travel time along a scenic and culturally rich route, making it convenient for tourists, pilgrims, and local travellers. The service aims to support tourism by linking two of India’s prominent heritage destinations—Varanasi’s spiritual hub and Khajuraho’s world-famous temples.
The Vande Bharat will run through key stations en route, with modern onboard facilities including comfortable seating, improved safety features, and enhanced catering services. The launch of this route is anticipated to significantly boost regional tourism, promote economic activity, and strengthen rail infrastructure in the region. Timing details and final schedule are expected to be announced shortly by Indian Railways.
