Visakhapatnam, December 3, 2025 — The Indian Institute of Management Visakhapatnam (IIM‑V) today launched a specialized training program for 500 district- and mandal-level Rural Development officers in Andhra Pradesh. The initiative aims to enhance governance skills, digital administration capabilities, and project implementation efficiency at the grassroots level.
The program will focus on equipping officers with modern management techniques, data-driven decision-making tools, and leadership skills to strengthen rural development outcomes. Officials said the training is expected to significantly improve planning and execution of state and central schemes in villages across Andhra Pradesh.
