Shimla | December 4, 2025 — Himachal Pradesh Chief Minister Sukhvinder Singh Sukhu on Wednesday inaugurated the Digital Forensic Division and the new DPRC building, marking a major step toward strengthening the state’s cyber crime investigation infrastructure. The new facilities are aimed at improving scientific evidence analysis and speeding up the probe of complex digital and financial crimes.
The Chief Minister said the initiative will enhance the capabilities of law enforcement agencies and ensure quicker, more transparent delivery of justice. Officials added that the upgraded digital forensic systems will help track cyber frauds, online scams, and data-related crimes more effectively, positioning Himachal Pradesh among the states adopting advanced crime-fighting technologies.
