HAL Shuts Down Speculation, Confirms No Impact on LCA Tejas Export Plans

Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) firmly dismissed all rumours suggesting a setback to the export prospects of the LCA Tejas fighter jet. In a clear statement from Bengaluru on Friday, HAL clarified that ongoing discussions with international buyers remain uninterrupted and that recent concerns circulating online are baseless. Officials reiterated that the Tejas program continues to receive strong global interest due to its proven performance, cost-efficiency, and indigenous technological capabilities.

The defence PSU added that production schedules and delivery commitments remain on track, ensuring partner nations will not face delays. HAL emphasized that India’s growing defence manufacturing ecosystem, supported by advanced R&D and government backing, places the Tejas in a highly competitive position globally. The company assured that all export-related processes are functioning smoothly and urged the public not to fall for misinformation.
