Fatehabad, November 13, 2025 — In a major crackdown, the Fatehabad Police intercepted a car and seized ₹1.75 crore in unaccounted cash during a routine vehicle check late Wednesday night. The incident occurred near Bhattu Kalan, where officers stopped the vehicle after noticing suspicious movement.
Police officials confirmed that two occupants of the car have been detained for questioning, and investigations are underway to trace the source and intended destination of the money. Authorities suspect the cash could be linked to hawala transactions or election-related funding, though verification is still in progress. The seized money has been handed over to the Income Tax Department for further probe.
