New Delhi, November 8, 2025: Delhi Police have dismantled a fake job racket that was fraudulently offering employment in IndiGo Airlines and arrested nine members involved in the scam. The gang allegedly duped several job seekers by promising positions in the airline’s ground staff and cabin crew departments, collecting large sums of money in the name of training and documentation.
According to officials, the accused operated through fake websites, forged appointment letters, and bogus interview calls to trap unemployed youths. Police have seized laptops, forged ID cards, and documents used in the scam, and urged the public to verify job offers directly with companies before making any payments. Authorities are now tracking additional victims and investigating whether more people are linked to the racket.
