Andhra Pradesh continues to report one of the lowest cyber-crime conviction rates in the country, raising serious concerns about digital safety and law enforcement effectiveness. Despite an increase in reported cyber fraud cases, successful convictions remain limited.
Officials say delays in investigation, lack of technical expertise, and shortage of cyber forensic support are the main reasons behind the poor conviction rate. The state government is now under pressure to strengthen cyber policing infrastructure.
