The district administration announced the closure of all schools and colleges as a precautionary measure to ensure the safety of students amid waterlogging, traffic disruptions, and rising river levels.

Authorities have urged residents to remain indoors, avoid unnecessary travel, and follow official weather advisories as intermittent rain is expected to continue over the next 24 hours.
