Mumbai, December 27:
BJP MLA Ameet Satam on Saturday clarified that there is no dispute over seat-sharing arrangements within the party ahead of the upcoming Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) elections. Satam emphasised that internal discussions have been smooth and transparent, ensuring coordination among party leaders.
He added that the BJP is focused on presenting a strong candidate lineup and engaging with voters on development issues, promising a fair and strategic approach. Party insiders said the statement aims to counter speculation about internal disagreements and to project unity before the crucial municipal polls.
Political analysts noted that such public reassurances are common as parties approach local elections, particularly in high-stakes civic bodies like the BMC, where leadership coordination is key to electoral success.
