The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Monday issued a whip to its Lok Sabha members, instructing them to remain present in the House until December 19. Party sources said the directive is aimed at ensuring full strength during crucial legislative discussions and voting scheduled in the upcoming week.
Officials added that the party leadership emphasised the importance of attendance to maintain unity and coordination on key bills and motions. Analysts noted that such measures are common ahead of significant parliamentary proceedings to streamline party strategy and safeguard legislative priorities.
