Ahmedabad, December 5, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Friday inaugurated Swadeshotsav 2025 in Ahmedabad, a grand cultural festival celebrating India’s traditional arts, crafts, and heritage. Addressing the gathering, he said such festivals play a key role in preserving India’s rich cultural identity while promoting local talent on a national platform.
He also emphasized the importance of encouraging indigenous products and empowering artisans through wider market access. The festival is expected to draw large crowds, featuring exhibitions, cultural performances, and showcases of handcrafted goods from across the country.
