Ahmedabad | December 4, 2025 — The Gujarat Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) on Wednesday busted a suspected espionage network and detained two individuals in a high-security operation. The suspects are alleged to have been involved in sharing sensitive and classified information with foreign handlers, posing a threat to national security.
Senior ATS officials confirmed that electronic devices, communication tools, and incriminating documents were seized during the operation. Preliminary investigations suggest the duo was part of a wider intelligence-linked network, and further interrogations are underway to identify other possible links. The bust is being seen as a significant success in the state’s ongoing crackdown on anti-national activities.
