New Delhi, November 27, 2025: Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Wednesday described the ‘Meri Poonji, Mera Adhikar’ initiative as a landmark step towards strengthening citizens’ control over their financial assets. Addressing a public outreach programme in the capital, the Chief Minister said the campaign would ensure greater transparency, accessibility and awareness regarding personal financial rights, especially among the middle class and small investors.
She further emphasised that the initiative aligns with the government’s larger vision of promoting financial literacy and safeguarding public savings in an increasingly digital economy. The Delhi government plans to roll out awareness drives, digital support systems and grievance redress mechanisms to ensure that citizens are fully informed and protected in matters related to their investments and financial ownership.
