New Delhi, November 27, 2025: A special NIA court on Thursday extended the custody of terror accused Jasir Bilal by another seven days, allowing investigators more time to question him in connection with the high-profile national security case. The agency told the court that crucial leads have emerged during interrogation which require further verification.
Officials said Bilal’s extended custody is critical to uncover the wider terror network, funding channels, and possible international links. The court accepted the NIA’s plea after being satisfied with the progress of the investigation, while security agencies remain on high alert amid continuing counter-terror operations.
