West Bengal Governor Sends Message of Unity and Constitutional Values on Samvidhan Diwas

Kolkata, November 26, 2025: On the occasion of Samvidhan Diwas, the Governor of West Bengal extended warm greetings to the people of the state and the nation, paying tribute to the makers of the Indian Constitution. Emphasising the values of justice, liberty, equality and fraternity, the Governor said the Constitution remains the strongest pillar of Indian democracy and national unity.

The message also urged citizens, especially the youth, to uphold constitutional ideals in their daily lives and work collectively for a progressive, inclusive and developed India. Samvidhan Diwas is observed every year to commemorate the adoption of the Constitution on November 26, 1949, and to reaffirm the nation’s commitment to democratic values.
