
New Delhi, November 11, 2025: A low-intensity blast near the Red Fort Metro Station on Tuesday evening triggered panic and prompted authorities to place the national capital on high alert. The incident occurred close to Gate No. 3 of the station, leading to immediate evacuation of the area. Police teams, bomb squad units, and forensic experts rushed to the spot to assess the situation, while CCTV footage from the vicinity is being examined for clues. No casualties have been reported so far, but the explosion has raised serious concerns over security around key heritage and tourist locations.
Security has been tightened across Delhi, especially around Metro networks, crowded markets, India Gate, Connaught Place, and government buildings. Additional checkpoints have been set up, and police presence has been increased to maintain public safety. Authorities have urged citizens to remain alert and cooperate with security personnel.
