Vijay Kumar Sinha Accuses RJD of Threatening Polling Agent in Halsi

Halsi, Bihar, November 6, 2025:
BJP leader Vijay Kumar Sinha has accused the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD) of threatening a polling agent in Halsi during the ongoing Bihar Assembly elections. He alleged that RJD workers attempted to intimidate the agent to influence the polling process, claiming that such acts reflect the party’s unchanged approach to elections. Sinha criticized the RJD, stating that their behaviour shows a continuation of what he described as a “booth-capturing mindset” that has been associated with the party in past elections.

Sinha urged the Election Commission to take strict action and ensure a free, fair, and secure voting environment across the constituency. He further appealed to voters not to be influenced by fear and to exercise their democratic rights confidently. The incident has added to the political tension in the region, with both parties trading accusations as polling continues in Bihar.
