Uttarakhand Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami took part in the two-day Malta Festival held in Dehradun, celebrating the cultural, agricultural, and trade aspects of the Mediterranean fruit. The festival, aimed at promoting the nutritional benefits and commercial potential of Malta, featured exhibitions, tasting sessions, and interactive workshops for farmers, entrepreneurs, and food enthusiasts. CM Dhami highlighted the importance of such events in boosting local agriculture and connecting producers with markets.
Speaking at the festival, Dhami emphasised the state government’s commitment to supporting farmers and promoting innovative agricultural practices. He encouraged participation in such initiatives to explore new opportunities for crop diversification and value addition. The festival also featured cultural programs, culinary demonstrations, and business networking sessions, making it a platform for both awareness and economic engagement.
