London, November 4, 2025: The UK’s High Commissioner praised the presence and contribution of nearly 1.7 lakh Indian students studying across universities in the United Kingdom, calling them “among the brightest and best.” Speaking at an education event in London, the envoy highlighted that Indian students continue to excel in diverse academic fields, from technology and medicine to business and research. He noted that their talent and cultural vibrancy enrich UK campuses and strengthen educational ties between the two nations.
The envoy also emphasised that Indian students play a vital role in fostering stronger bilateral relations and future collaborations. He added that the UK remains committed to supporting student exchanges, post-study opportunities, and academic partnerships that benefit both countries. Educational experts present at the event praised the positive impact of Indian students on innovation and global learning standards.
