
Colombo, November 11, 2025: Sri Lanka’s limited-overs captain Charith Asalanka admitted that facing Pakistan is always a challenging task, calling it one of the toughest series for his team. Speaking ahead of the upcoming tour, Asalanka praised Pakistan’s competitive spirit, strong bowling attack, and ability to perform under pressure. He emphasized that Sri Lanka must stay disciplined, focused, and consistent to match Pakistan’s intensity on the field.
Asalanka also expressed confidence in his squad, highlighting that the team has been working on strengthening key areas, especially batting depth and middle-overs control.
