BJP leader Suvendu Adhikari has alleged that the Trinamool Congress misused police machinery during the Special Investigation Review (SIR) proceedings. He claimed that several officers acted under political pressure, compromising neutrality and affecting the credibility of the process.
Adhikari has written to the Election Commission seeking immediate action and stricter monitoring to prevent further violations. He urged the EC to deploy central forces and ensure fair conduct, stating that democratic institutions must remain free from partisan influence.
