South Korea, US Sign $350 Billion Investment Deal, Tariffs to be Reduced

Seoul, November 14, 2025 — South Korea and the United States have entered into a landmark MoU involving a massive $350 billion investment commitment, aimed at strengthening economic ties and boosting cooperation in advanced technology sectors. As part of the agreement, the US will reduce tariffs on several key South Korean exports, giving a major push to bilateral trade.

The announcement comes after high-level talks between officials from both nations, who highlighted that the deal will support semiconductor supply chains, clean energy projects, and defense partnerships. The investment is expected to generate jobs and increase market access for industries on both sides, marking one of the most significant US–South Korea economic collaborations to date.
