Mumbai | November 29, 2025 — Former Indian cricketer and commentator Sanjay Manjrekar launched a stinging attack on India’s batting lineup after their crushing 0–2 series defeat against South Africa. In a hard-hitting reaction on Friday, Manjrekar termed the batters as “poorly trained NRIs,” questioning their technique, preparation, and ability to adapt to fast and hostile overseas conditions.
His remarks came after repeated batting collapses against South Africa’s lethal pace attack, where India’s top and middle order struggled badly under pressure.
