New Delhi, December 10: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday urged citizens to make use of their unclaimed and forgotten financial assets under a new nationwide financial awareness initiative. He said large amounts of dormant money in bank accounts, insurance policies and investments can be transformed into fresh economic opportunities.
The Prime Minister said financial inclusion and awareness are key pillars of a self-reliant India. He encouraged people to regularly track their financial records and ensure that no legitimate earnings remain unused, adding that such steps will also strengthen the country’s financial system.
