
A large-scale Russian missile and drone barrage hit the western Ukrainian city of Ternopil, causing severe destruction and civilian casualties. At least 25 people, including three children, were killed, and 73 others were injured. Two residential apartment buildings were completely devastated, and rescue teams are still searching for missing people under the rubble.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russia launched over 470 drones and 48 missiles in a widespread attack targeting multiple regions. Ukrainian air defense intercepted many projectiles, but several managed to strike populated areas, leading to significant damage and loss of life.
