Not Satisfied With Just One World Cup: Harmanpreet Kaur Eyes More Global Titles for India

Mumbai, January 9:
India and Mumbai Indians skipper Harmanpreet Kaur has made it clear that one World Cup triumph is not enough, asserting her hunger for more global success with the Indian women’s cricket team. Speaking about her ambitions, Harmanpreet said she remains driven to achieve bigger milestones and wants the team to consistently challenge for major ICC trophies. The experienced all-rounder stressed that India now has the depth, skill and mindset required to compete with the best teams in the world across formats.

Highlighting the growth of women’s cricket in India, Harmanpreet credited improved infrastructure, strong domestic competitions and the Women’s Premier League for raising standards. She added that the focus remains on long-term preparation, mental toughness and delivering under pressure on the biggest stages. “We are building a team that believes in winning every tournament it plays,” Harmanpreet said, underlining that her goal is to help India establish itself as a dominant force in world cricket rather than settling for a single historic World Cup victory.
