Shiv Sena leader Shaina NC on Friday responded sharply to AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi, stating that there is “no vacancy for the Prime Minister post” and asserting that Prime Minister Narendra Modi continues to enjoy the mandate of the people. Speaking to the media, Shaina NC said Owaisi’s remarks on national leadership were unnecessary and politically motivated, adding that the country has already made its choice through democratic elections.
She further emphasized that leadership should be discussed on the basis of performance, stability, and public trust, rather than speculative political statements. Political observers note that the exchange highlights the sharpening of political rhetoric between regional and national parties, especially as debates around leadership, representation, and inclusivity gain momentum ahead of upcoming elections.
