A new dangerous malware named ‘Sturnus’ has been detected targeting Android devices, raising serious concerns over digital banking security. According to cybersecurity researchers, this advanced malware is capable of attacking popular banking applications and bypassing end-to-end (E2E) encryption, allowing hackers to access sensitive financial data, login credentials, and even real-time transactions without the user’s knowledge.
