Mumbai Police on Monday registered a case against the driver of a vehicle that was part of actor Akshay Kumar’s security entourage in connection with a road accident in the city. Officials said the incident occurred when a vehicle in the convoy allegedly hit another road user, prompting police to initiate legal action following preliminary investigations.
According to the police, the case has been registered under relevant sections of the law, and further inquiry is underway to determine the circumstances leading to the accident. Authorities said statements of witnesses are being recorded and CCTV footage from the area is being examined, adding that appropriate action will be taken based on the findings of the investigation.
