MP Engineer Caught Using Forged CMO Letter for Promotion, Goes on Leave After Exposure

A woman engineer in Madhya Pradesh has landed in controversy after allegedly using a forged letter bearing the Chief Minister’s Office (CMO) seal to secure her promotion. The fraudulent document surfaced during official verification, raising suspicion among senior authorities. Once the forgery was confirmed, the engineer reportedly applied for leave, avoiding immediate departmental questioning.

The incident has triggered departmental action, with officials preparing for a detailed inquiry into how the fake letter was created and circulated.
