Major Disruption at Delhi Airport: Technical Glitch in ATC System Delays Over 100 Flights

New Delhi, November 7:
Passengers at Indira Gandhi International Airport faced massive travel disruptions after a technical glitch in the Air Traffic Control (ATC) system caused delays to more than 100 flights on Thursday. The issue affected both domestic and international flight operations, leading to long queues at boarding gates and frustrated travellers waiting for updates. Airport authorities and technical teams rushed to fix the malfunction, which impacted flight scheduling and ground operations.

The ATC system was restored after emergency technical intervention, but the ripple effect continued for hours, with many flights rescheduled or held on the tarmac. Passengers expressed concern over the inconvenience, especially with the festive travel rush. Aviation officials have initiated a detailed investigation to prevent such incidents in the future, stressing the need for robust backup systems to ensure uninterrupted flight operations.
