New Delhi, December 13: Leader of Opposition (LoP) Rahul Gandhi on Friday met with representatives of various workers’ unions, raising concerns regarding the implementation of new labour codes. He highlighted potential challenges that the workforce may face under the revised legislation and urged the government to address issues related to job security, wages, and workers’ rights.
During the meeting, union leaders shared their experiences and suggestions on ensuring fair and transparent enforcement of labour laws. Political analysts said the engagement reflects growing dialogue between opposition leaders and labour groups, while also putting pressure on the government to consider workers’ welfare in policymaking.
