Hyderabad, November 2025: Senior politician Konda Surekha has issued a public apology to actor Nagarjuna Akkineni after her recent derogatory comments sparked controversy across Telangana. Surekha further stated that she holds deep respect for Nagarjuna and his contributions to the Telugu film industry and philanthropy. She urged the public and media to consider the matter closed, emphasizing that she has completely withdrawn the statement.
