Thiruvananthapuram, December 9, 2025:
Kerala Health Minister on Monday accused the United Democratic Front (UDF) of following an anti-women policy in connection with the recent controversy involving an actor. Addressing the media, the Minister alleged that the opposition was attempting to politicise the sensitive issue instead of standing firmly with women’s safety and justice.
The Minister further stated that the state government remains committed to protecting the rights and dignity of women and will not tolerate any form of injustice. The remarks have triggered a fresh political debate in the state, with the UDF expected to respond to the allegations in the coming days.
