Thiruvananthapuram, January 20:
Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan on Monday raised concerns over what he described as “unauthorised changes” in certain policies issued by the Governor. Speaking in the state Assembly, the CM said that modifications made without proper consultation or procedural adherence could undermine the state’s administrative processes and governance framework.
Vijayan emphasised that any deviation from established protocols risks creating confusion among officials and citizens alike. He called for a thorough review and urged coordination between the Raj Bhavan and state government to ensure that policies are implemented transparently and in accordance with legal and constitutional guidelines. The remarks have sparked debate in political circles, with observers noting potential implications for the state’s ongoing administrative and legislative activities.
