The Indonesian Defence Minister highlighted the importance of defence cooperation during bilateral talks with Indian officials, calling it a critical pillar of the growing strategic partnership between the two nations. Both sides emphasized collaboration in training, technology exchange, and joint exercises to strengthen regional security.
Officials noted that enhanced defence ties are expected to bolster trust, interoperability, and mutual preparedness, reinforcing India and Indonesia’s shared commitment to peace and stability in the Indo-Pacific region. This meeting also paved the way for upcoming joint military initiatives and defence technology projects.
