
New Delhi, October 23, 2025: The armies of India and Oman convened their 3rd Army-to-Army Staff Talks in New Delhi today, underscoring their shared commitment to deepening bilateral defence cooperation. Senior military officials from both nations reviewed ongoing collaborative frameworks and emphasised enhancing joint training, interoperability, logistics support, and defence-industry linkages.
The discussions explored expanding exercise schedules and subject-matter expert exchanges, particularly in fields such as mountain and desert operations, counter-terrorism and rapid deployment. Both parties also pledged to bolster information-sharing mechanisms and increase their readiness to respond jointly to regional security challenges in the Indian Ocean and Gulf regions.
