
New Delhi, November 13, 2025 — In the wake of the terror attack near Delhi’s Red Fort area, Union Home Minister Amit Shah chaired a high-level security meeting on Thursday to assess the situation and review the ongoing investigation. Top officials from the Intelligence Bureau, Delhi Police, and National Investigation Agency (NIA) attended the meeting to discuss immediate countermeasures and security enhancements across the capital.
Amit Shah directed agencies to ensure that those behind the attack are identified and brought to justice swiftly. He also emphasized strengthening surveillance and intelligence-sharing networks to prevent future incidents. The meeting came just hours after the city was placed on high alert, with security tightened at all major public locations and transportation hubs.
