
Gandhinagar, November 27, 2025: Union Road Transport and Highways Minister Nitin Gadkari, along with Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, conducted a high-level review of major National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) projects in the state on Wednesday. The meeting focused on accelerating construction speed, improving road quality, and resolving land acquisition and clearance bottlenecks to ensure timely completion of strategic highway corridors.
Emphasising world-class infrastructure standards, both leaders directed officials to adopt advanced construction technologies and strict quality monitoring. The projects under review are expected to enhance connectivity to industrial hubs, ports, and border regions, strengthening Gujarat’s role as a key logistics and economic powerhouse in western India.
