Faridabad Arrest Exposes Jaish Women’s Wing In India

Faridabad, November 11, 2025: A major breakthrough for security agencies came on Tuesday after the arrest of a suspected operative in Faridabad, which has exposed the existence of a women’s wing linked to Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) operating in India. The accused, believed to be involved in recruitment and radicalisation activities, was detained following a coordinated intelligence-led operation. Preliminary investigations suggest that the module was attempting to expand its network by targeting young women through encrypted online platforms.

Authorities have recovered electronic devices, documents, and communication records indicating cross-border links and possible financial support for the network. The arrest has prompted nationwide scrutiny, with security agencies now tracking additional individuals who may be connected to the women-driven wing. Officials emphasised that this development marks a worrying shift in the terror outfit’s strategy, and further arrests are likely as the investigation deepens.
