CBSE Directs Schools to Strengthen Career Guidance for Students

New Delhi, December 10: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has directed affiliated schools to strengthen career guidance and counselling support for students, especially those in Classes 9 to 12. The move aims to help students make informed decisions regarding higher education, competitive exams, and career planning at an early stage.

CBSE officials said schools should organise career awareness sessions, invite industry experts, and provide psychological counselling support to reduce academic stress among students.
