    According to officials, Andhra Pradesh has adopted large-scale use of LED lighting, promoted energy-efficient appliances and encouraged renewable energy generation, particularly solar and wind power. Awareness campaigns conducted across urban and rural areas have also contributed to behavioural change among consumers.

    Energy department officials said the state’s initiatives align with national climate goals and sustainable development targets. Experts noted that Andhra Pradesh’s performance could serve as a benchmark for other states aiming to reduce energy consumption while maintaining economic growth.
