New Delhi, November 26, 2025: Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on Tuesday described the Constitution of India as “not just a book, but a sacred promise of equality and justice,” underlining its role as the moral and democratic foundation of the nation. His remarks came amid renewed political debate on constitutional values, social justice, and institutional independence.
Gandhi said the Constitution protects the weakest sections of society and ensures dignity, rights, and opportunity for every citizen. He urged people to safeguard its spirit against any attempt to weaken democratic institutions, adding that India’s strength lies in unity, fairness, and unwavering commitment to constitutional principles.
