New Delhi, December 16: The Lok Sabha on Monday introduced the VB-G RAM-G Bill, 2025, aimed at strengthening employment generation and livelihood opportunities across the country. The proposed legislation seeks to streamline existing schemes and improve coordination between the Centre and states to enhance job creation, particularly in rural and semi-urban areas.
The Bill outlines provisions for funding mechanisms, implementation frameworks, and monitoring systems to ensure effective delivery of benefits. While the government said the move would boost economic inclusion and workforce participation, opposition members raised concerns over cost-sharing and implementation challenges, with detailed discussions expected during the ongoing Parliament session.
